Eastchester Living

When we re-launched their brand from a single development into a full community, the plan hinged on a successful social strategy.

I worked with the client to build out their messaging pillars and plan the launch. And since then, I've created their content and managed their social channels on Instagram and Facebook.

Over the past three years, I've helped them start a conversation about what downtown living looks like in our city, and we've created a successful campaign that not only built a good community but also helped them meet their pre-leasing goals with the launch of their latest property.

Eastchester Living is a collection of developments that have revitalized an underserved community in the heart of Bakersfield, CA. What began as one community, 17th Place Townhomes, is now a community of four apartment complexes that have drawn in new local businesses and community efforts to the area.

The Eastchester Living brand is built on quality, intentionality, sustainability, walkability, and friendly neighbors. What was originally a marketing arm of a development group has become a supportive, collaborative community.

Since I took over the account in March 2022, we've seen:

  • Engagement increase by 57%

  • Followers increase by 47%

  • Page reach increase by 110%

The account growth is purely organic, with no paid ads. Along with the aesthetic improvements, this work has led to a better brand understanding in the marketplace and more community interest in the properties.

The success of their social efforts has led to further investment in other digital marketing pieces, including several influencer campaigns and a monthly blog & newsletter that has successfully increased community engagement with an average open rate of 64%.
